Purchased for the first generation Toyota Tundra, just received the cover and measured. The thickness of the metal is 4.5mm, which is very thick compared to the standard welded Tundra cover. The thickness of the standard cover is about 2mm. The width of the flat rim around the perimeter is about 7mm. 24mm head, like the shank, but a larger head for better engagement than the slightly low and flat shank lock. I originally intended to drill holes and use M6 screws, but given the limited width, I might go with M4 hex screws or bolts. I. I plan to use 8 to 12 bolts along with gasket material to seal the diff. If the lip was wider, say 10mm or 12mm, I could use M6 bolts which would provide much better downforce. Inner sides and possible deformations. I wish Toyota had a screw cap, but it is. Hope this works and helps others.
