I'm a Chevrolet technician, uh. It's a cheap look/feel in my opinion. but my oem distributor is fried so it will probably work fine. Vacuum drives are definitely cheaper, maybe it will work again. FYI, there are NO air intake gaskets included! Get a Mercedes, they're $8 each. I will give an update after I install it today.βββββββ-06/26/20 Update on how I got 3000 miles on this distributor. works perfectly! No codes, no problems. The car seems happy to be breathing again. i will be honest seems very honest. Don't try to do it yourself. The assembly without a 2nd person is extremely difficult and uncomfortable. Manifold seals slide like a bar of soap in a prison shower. I recommend using small zip ties over the injector holes and routing the entire fuel rail, still connected to the fuel line, to the side of the engine. The ECM and loom must be moved and hand held to allow the inlet to fit under the whole. The most interesting thing is to connect the vacuum lines to the front panel. βββUpdated 08/01/20. Well, the inevitable happened. It failed completely. My car is out of control. I'm very upset because the time and money spent only lasted for a few months, which is a shame for me. So what went wrong you asked? Good. Weld the middle swing arm. a toggle switch drive that always breaks? BOLT. BOLT came out and fell into the IMAO valley. Leaves a coin-sized hole in the collector. Big. I ran out of $250. Now I have to spend $500 on an OEM Peterberug intake like I should. On the other hand, I will spend 4 hours of my life on this work. Just a bloody dandy. Yes. So I recommend you buy OEM as this really isn't a part to save money on.
