I was looking for shoes that would last a long time and be able to pass them on to another child when they get too small. They rose to the challenge. These shoes are very well made and they are very cute on my daughter. She has wide legs so they fit perfectly at the sides. They were a bit long compared to other brands of the same size. Also, as my daughter's legs got bigger, she couldn't wear these shoes anymore because the shin area was low on the top of her foot. So if your child has "fat feet” then you need to consider more athletic shoes to accommodate the top of the foot.
