Review on Farmhouse Comforter Dual Sided Jacquard 3 Pieces Bedding by Angel Scully

Very cute pattern; I love how soft the purple pink tone is. Slightly feminine but not too flattering. It is vacuum packed and puffs up immediately when you take it out of the packaging. Fiberfill definitely feels cheap but still retains heat. I like the cotton on the top of the kit; Microfiber on the wrong side seems a lot cheaper. I washed it after opening it and it did NOT wash well. As far as I can tell there is NO shrinkage but the cotton side is hopelessly wrinkled. I let it dry over the stair railing overnight, but I still had to manually smooth out the wrinkles and pull out the clumps of putty. I tried my best but you can still see a lot of creases and lumps on the comforter. The pillowcases had to be completely soaked and re-ironed and are still not as good as I would like. So frustrating and will definitely put me off washing again any time soon. So strange. I only use cotton sheets in all my beds and have never experienced anything like this. While this kit looks good, the quality and washability definitely takes stars off my book. I probably won't order again.
