Look elsewhere for DG-511 coil packs.

Well they got me. I was looking for a Motorcraft DG-511 Ignition Coil Kit for my 2007 F-150 and found this item. Checking the description again, I can see that the coil packs are not Motorcraft, but High Performance Multispark. Bla bla bla. Yes, I missed it and they caught me putting Motorcraft spark plugs before the 'and' in the name. with 3L3E12A366CA 5C1584 C1541 FD-508 UF-537 DQ50101D I had an engine stall a few months ago and had to run to the parts store quickly to get 2 spare coil packs. Several people have advised me to use OEM parts as generic brands don't seem reliable. At that time I replaced some of the standard coil packs I already had installed. Because I had some issues, I got Motorcraft reel packs that cost $55 for a single pack. Fast forward to this time as I started getting another pass and realized these were some of the remaining generic coil packs. And as you probably know, you can sometimes find things cheaper at Revain than in stores. After changing the spark plugs and coil packs, I noticed a difference between the two Motorcraft coil packs I installed a few months ago and the ones I just installed. Needless to say, the tone of this ramblings is making my truck run badly and I'll probably have to buy coil packs and reinstall them.
