This is my second massage gun. The first one was so cool my mom stole it from me so now I have to hide it every time she comes to visit. They're more like a tiny jackhammer than a massager, so use them when you need stronger and deeper tissue. This particular massager looks beautiful. It has a nice matte black color that gives it an already industrial look. It's quite heavy to hold in hand, but it only weighs about two pounds, so like the elderly mom mentioned above, he can use it too. Different massage heads allow for different massage styles and focal points. You can experiment a bit to see which one you like best, but it's usually best to start with the ball since it's the easiest. There are different speed/power levels - the screen shows between 1 and 20 but I can distinguish about 10 different levels. Another great thing about massage guns is that they have an internal battery, which means they're cordless and USB-charged, so you can take them anywhere, anytime. The price is quite high, but that's because of the quality it takes to create something like this. But I think after trying them you will also agree that they are much better than traditional vibrating massagers.
