Not a bad speaker but JBL Clip 3 is much better especially for playing guitar over

I have a small pocket amp called Valeton Rushead Max that I plug into my guitar. I usually connect an audio cable from the headphone jack to a portable bluetooth speaker that I have with an AUX input, but was wondering if I could use this speaker to make it easier for me to walk around with the amp, although this one Speaker it was designed to be used with phones. I found that adding this speaker to the Rushead Max made it heavier, but this can be remedied by putting a rubber band between the amp/speaker and the guitar arm. While the sound quality from this speaker was better than expected for its size, it was still very poor for live guitar playback. It sounded muddy, tinny and lacking in bass, and the distortion settings at high volume made it shake profusely, probably enough to crack if played at high volume on the distortion channel for a long period of time. I recently received a JBL Clip 3, which is only slightly larger and less portable than this speaker, and while the Clip 3 still lacks sound quality compared to my desktop bluetooth speaker, the Clip 3 sounded great compared to this speaker significantly better. was clear and manageable distortion good. In addition, it is much stronger and more durable. You'll need either an audio cable or a Bluetooth-enabled device to connect the Clip 3, so it can be a little awkward to use the Clip 3 if your device doesn't have Bluetooth and you need an audio cable. In a very specific case where you need a very small speaker for your phone to boost it a bit and you are not going to use it harshly, this speaker might be better, but in the vast majority of cases I would recommend the JBL Clip 3 above. Update January 5, 2021: I've added an image comparing the dimensions of the JBL Clip 3 and this speaker, in addition to my larger Vanzom Climber-Z portable speaker. The JBL 3 clip looks a lot bigger than this speaker in the picture, but is much thinner (about as thick as this speaker) than the Vanzom speaker, and the clip greatly increases its portability as it's easy to hang up or down fasten is. places when you travel. Both this speaker and the JBL Clip 3 fit in my guitar case without removing the picks or strap and with the Valeton Rushead Max, while my Vanzom speaker does not fit in the case and has to be carried separately.
