Please note that the connection on the back of the flashlight is not compatible with either the extension cable supplied or the connection on the Mini. They don't snap together like they should. Because of this, the plug falls apart very easily. There are 2 picture ports as designed. The black and red wire is the extension cord that comes with the light. the brown/black wire is the Mini Cooper wire. You can see they don't fit into the white connector on the back of the flashlight. They press on the white tongue and seem to get stuck between the white tongue and the pins. Both ports are not fully attached to the bottom and fall off easily. You'd turn on the light and pray the plug didn't fall off while driving. and then the light is a bitch to shoot and put. My proper repair was to permanently attach the extensin to the light with soldering and shrinking. The extension cable (blue end) connects properly to the MNI Cooper connector and the extra length is good for new installation. Tech support answered the call which was nice. but they didn't help. said it worked when they tested it. In any case, I'm sure the connection will say "established" after the change. but it will by no means remain as it was delivered, designed, tested. My 2 cents.
