Updated 11/21/2020 - I've been using this fan for at least 10 hours every day for the last 6 months, except when I'm not at home. it worked with no crashes or problems for the first three months or so. However, in recent months at certain speeds it has started to make a faint whine. easy enough to stop by very gently moving the speed dial up or down. that's the only problem I've encountered so far. Although you can't hear the fan in the video with the wind in the background, you can get an idea of the size. hope that helps. The best thing about this fan is that it's exceptionally quiet, the battery lasts as long as advertised, at low speed all night with ease. You can adjust the speed from low to high with the dial, not just low, medium and high, like some stand designs you can adjust the angle 180 degrees quickly and you can charge while using the extra USB port in full Use size can be used to charge other things ie the quality of the phone is better than expected, the right speed to make it louder than usual (a slight twist of the knob fixes this) even when the battery is fully charged, status LED keeps blinking indicating charging complete progress? Summary - in twenty years I've only had one other fan approach this silence. however, this other fan was not exhausting much air. however, this can change from a light breeze to a surprisingly strong airflow. in height it looks more like a medium sized fan than a small one. Mains or battery operation is also great. Being able to use it as a backup battery is also a nice bonus. Without a doubt, this is the best sleep fan I have ever picked up.
