Underestimated - Moccasins and Slippers

In my lengthening life I have had all kinds of slippers. You give me the perfect combination of what I need: 1. You are strong. My first pair is 4 years old, I've worn them daily and they still have outsole life with no wear on the upper but expected wear on the inner liner. 2. They work well to take out the trash even when it rains. They're undamaged by a few raindrops and have never leaked, even though I've made those trips to the bin with very wet puddles of concrete pathways. 3. You are warm, but not so warm that your feet sweat profusely. You breathe well. 4. You look normal and have remained so. Dark brown has the ability to absorb light droplets from drinks etc without showing any really noticeable stains. You can clean them with a suede brush if you're really clean, but I wouldn't try machine washing them. Hand washing might work but I will do it gently and then rinse the water out as soon as possible, probably tumble dry on a low shelf or dry in the sun. But since they don't cause profuse sweating, I didn't feel the need to try any of them. Our cat still loves the scent. And she's pretty smart. :-)
