Review on 🔌 HDMI to RCA Converter for Audio Video Signals - Plug and Play HDMI to RCA (AV) Composite Video and L/R Stereo Audio Converter by Chris Long

I have an old HDTV with no HDMI connections but with lots of red/white and yellow RCA inputs. Installing this item is very simple: plug the jacks into RCA jacks, turn on the converter and connect an HDMI peripheral (Google Chromecast version 1 in my case). It took longer than usual for the Chromecast to detect my network, but I lent it to someone and they haven't used it in a while. After the Chromecast "received" a few updates, it worked, with a picture that was close to the quality I get from DirectTV, but not as sharp. The volume is also a bit low, but this cannot be compensated for. Now I'm wondering how long this item will last. I mainly use it to stream movies from PC with Video Stream and so far I haven't found any format it can't handle. I'll report back if there are problems. But for now I am satisfied with this converter.
