Review on ๐ŸŽฒ Enhance Your Poker Game with Brybelly Clear Acrylic Poker Chip Trays - Pack of 10 by Maurice Strawther

Better quality than I expected! A few small features are missing.

I had some concerns that the quality of these trays would be pretty low but even at a great price they were impressive. I'm hosting a friendly poker night at my house and I want guests to be able to easily move chips between tables - it works great. The cheap composite chips I bought ($90 for a 500 Monte Carlo) came in a horribly cheap aluminum case that I didn't want to use, and the chips fit perfectly in these trays of 20 chips in a row and a bit "flabby" ". so you can easily remove them. I also use these trays to store my chips in a "bank" at face value (see photo) and then stack the filled trays vertically to save space in our gaming closet. I intend to buy/build some sort of box or tote that I can use to transport a stack of chips in trays as a neat set, similar to the casino style acrylic boxes you may have seen. The cons of these bowls that I see before I test them are: 1) They don't have lids/lids. If you're using them for long-term chip storage, place them in a trash can or similar, or place an empty tray on top of the stack to keep dust and dirt off your chips. 2) They don't fit together. . If you store your chips elsewhere these trays will not fit inside each other so it's a little awkward to stack/store when you're out of chips. Also, empty bowls take up more space than necessary, which is why I decided to store my chips in storage bowls. 3) They have no recording capabilities. If you have trays loaded on the table (especially a stack of them) and you want to lift them, you don't have a ledge or opening to easily lift the bottom tray. The sides are smooth with no grip points. I can cut out small half circles at the ends for you to slip your finger underneath. If you have several full trays stacked vertically, to lift the set you will need to slide the set off the edge of the table to get under it. It's not a problem for a full tray, so it's not a huge complaint about my main use for them, but moving stacks from multiple trays is riskier, especially after you've had a few beers. :) I think a cover for many trays will come in handy here. Great value all round - I'll probably buy this set of 10 again to use a few for my "bench" and to give out trays to guests. But before you buy your set, you can check out some of the other designs that nest or have lids if you need those features.
