I needed a solution to put granny china in my closet but I was concerned about the weight of the glass shelves as there are only small pegs on the sides and back to support them. great solution with a little modification. I cut them to the right length with an electric saw. Go slow and you'll get a good cut. It will eventually snap/jagged if you drive fast. Also watch out for flying debris. I dusted them off and lightly sanded some of the rough edges. I also bought silicone bumpers to attach to each end (sticky back) and factored that height into my original trim measurements. They established themselves quickly. I stacked them on top of each other to support the weight and held up great even with a heavy glass gourd on the top shelf in the fall months.
