We bought these small lockable boxes for each of our children to use in college to store their medicines. On the plus side, they are compact, strong, reliable, and inexpensive. At first glance I thought it was too small for our needs but children's medication fits easily so despite my first impression I give it a thumbs up. They seem light and not as secure as I thought, but the lock is metal, the edges are reinforced with metal, and while a determined thief could probably take them apart with some effort, they seem strong enough for our purpose . Cost was the deciding factor. We could have spent a lot more for much more secure safes but in the end we decided it was overkill. It was a reasonable price for reasonable security. My daughter wanted them in more designer colors and designs; my son doesn't care. Now that they are on hand, we are happy with our purchase.
