I recently bought two of these palettes to get rid of the junk from the old Colourpop palettes and I'm very impressed. For their size, they hold quite a lot of shadows. I managed to fit 23 CP panels into one, and the other now holds three bronzers, blush, two highlighters, and nine eyeshadows. At first I was worried they would be too small for what I had in mind, but they ended up holding more than I needed. The compact size still gives you a huge mirror and these two factors combine to make it perfect for using your mirror when doing your makeup if like me you are very myopic. Perhaps the best thing about this palette is the design. The plastic is very strong and the clasp is very effective. It's actually tilted slightly away from you, probably making it harder to accidentally open it if you drop it (haven't tested it yet and don't plan to, but I have a lot of faith in these baddies). There weren't any logos on mine either, which I really like. I have tried empty cardboard pallets in the past and they were very dirty and falling apart. I have a feeling they will last for years. Seriously, I can't say enough about how good these pallets are and how different they are from the cardboard pallets I've used. Do yourself a favor and opt for this blank palette.
