Cute wall lantern, easy to carry, may need another Micro USB-B cable

Very cute wall lantern that changes in the following order: soft white light, bright white light, red, yellow, green, blue, pink, rainbow slow cycle and then off. Off in quotes because you can still pet the whale to make it switch between lights. If you don't want to constantly switch between the lights to go from "off" to one of the white lights, you can simply turn it off with the power switch on the bottom of the flashlight and then turn it back on. Requires clout. Having light modes switched is exactly what you'd expect, although I've seen other reviewers say it takes a little more effort. So be aware that this could change if you decide to buy it. I had an issue where the Micro USB B cable would not fit in the connector and trying to force it into the kit resulted in it being out of reach in the kit so I had to buy a Micro USB B Had to find cords lying around the house to charge it so make sure you have a spare in case you have the same problem as me. I didn't track how long it ran before the power went out, but it definitely lasted 8 hours with soft white light. When checking how long it would take to charge when empty, it was fully charged in about 2 hours when plugged into a laptop's USB port. The light will dim when it runs out of power, so you can rest assured that it won't suddenly go out during use if you charge it beforehand. It doesn't matter if the lamp is on or off, when plugged in it charges itself, it's just that the lamp behaves differently depending on the mode. You can still switch between the lights if you've left it on while plugged in, while it just stays a soft white light until it's fully charged, and you can't toggle it if you've plugged it in while it's off. If you turn off the lamp while it is plugged in, you cannot turn it back on to cycle through the lighting modes until you unplug it. I like using the whale as a flashlight, but softer when I need to walk. Somewhere in the house at night to check or quickly get something and use as a light for painting when you are in the mood. If you also use it for writing/reading/etc. past, just know it must be pretty close to what you see.
