We have a special charging station in the kitchen and all our children have to leave their devices here after 10pm. This is where we have all our iPads, iPhones, wireless headphones and other tablets to charge. The two original Lightning cables that came with the device have recently shown signs of wear to the point where the connector end actually exposed the wires. inside, and there was even a crack on the connector, so I decided to replace them with these two MFi-certified Lightning cables. MFi certification was the most important factor as many third-party cables stop working after the next iOS update due to incompatibility, but MFi certification gives you peace of mind that it will continue to work with iOS updates year after year without any issues . I can tell right away that the cable material is thicker and more durable than the original Lightning cable that comes with the devices. I've tried these cables on an iPad mini, a full-size iPad, and many other iPhone models we have at home and they all worked flawlessly and started charging right away. I've also tried this on a portable charger with an AC adapter, and again not only have I had no issues charging, but it seems to charge faster than the original Lightning cables. This was very noticeable when charging the iPad. I recommend these MFi certified Lightning cables for all your iOS devices and I also appreciate the thumbprint on the USB side for easier holding and unplugging. 5 out of 5 stars!
