Review on Focal Clear MG: Superior Open-Back Over-Ear Headphones for Ultimate High-Fidelity Experience by Kelly Noonan

My first encounter with high-end headphones. Tried Focals and Sennheiser 800. Everything about the Focal sound quality is fantastic. You are immersed in music. Excellent bass, treble, vocals, strings, percussion. Headphones are comfortable. I usually wear glasses and they don't push the glasses into my head. The 800s were great too, but they just didn't wrap me in a sound like the Focals. The 800s are famous for their soundstage. To me they sounded distant and not that rich. I have a 7.1 sound system, so I don't care about the soundstage in my headphones - quite the opposite. I want to be immersed in music when listening to it through headphones and Focals are perfect for that purpose.
