My elbow was very troublesome due to a sprain/contusion that would not heal, possibly in addition to arthritis. The pain became more than uncomfortable and I kept hurting it by overusing it. At one point I really couldn't lift a coffee cup. Even light blows, like touching a person or a door frame, were painful kickbacks. The Rehband sleeve protects and supports. At least in my case it was exactly what I needed as evidenced by how quickly it started to heal and felt better once I started using it. Now after two weeks of use I absolutely love this item, if I lost it I would buy it again in a heartbeat. I can still heal this joint! After a few hours of wear, you'll need to take it off to breathe (he and she), but you can also turn it sweaty side out for extra time. Measure carefully when ordering as directed. It must be convenient to use.
