Works great with tripods and monopods
I bought this to use with a Gorilla Pod Zoom DSLR. This is a great little ball head for lightweight cameras like my Canon G10. It is tight and the camera does not crawl. I would give it 5 stars if it had a fuse on the quick release lever. Just make sure you regularly check that the lever is in the "closed" position when the camera is mounted. I don't want the lever to move and the camera to fall out of the mount. Overall, this is a great compact, lightweight ball head.
