wave of the future!

does everything like our grandparents did. It's simple, economical, has minimal plastic packaging that can at least be reused or repurposed before being "recycled" (sorry for popping your hippie bubble, but VERY little of what ends up in bins doesn't end up really in a landfill). , the box takes up a lot of space. less space than liquid detergent bottles for the same number of loads. In addition, it has an A rating on EWG.org (an independent non-profit research group that analyzes all kinds of data, including ingredients in consumer products, which are ranked according to how healthy things are for people and the environment, that's really a cool site, there are also sundries, personal care products and cosmetics) Anyway, I usually wash with cold water in a front loading HE washing machine and I don't have a problem with this clumping because I sprinkle the powder in the drum onto my clothes. It only sticks together when you put it in the liquid detergent drawer. I also add about 1/4 cup distilled white vinegar to each batch for all sorts of magical things. Sometimes I shed a tear because I miss the baby smells of Gain, Tide, Bounce and the like. But then I think about how wastewater from treatment plants is minimally treated and then discharged into our rivers, groundwater, watersheds, bays, oceans, etc. etc, and I assume so. The scent of the future! Thanks Bioclin.
