Review on Coffeemaker Kitfort KT-740, black by Felicja Herbert ᠌

No complaints, I recommend to buy.

Pretty good coffee machine for the money. I took a specially narrow one so that it could fit on the countertop in the place intended for it. The case is completely plastic, but what else do you want for the money. There is no problem with excess liquid when preparing milk foam. The instructions say that before using the steamer, you need to drain the condensate, and only then use it. Well, that's logical. After all, hot steam is supplied, which, when cooled and condensed, turns into a liquid that remains in the system. Milk foam can be prepared in a special pitcher (jug) or in a regular mug. I bought a steamer because it is easier to control the cooking process in it (you can control the temperature of the milk so as not to overheat and so that it does not burn and the foam will not run away). Pour boiled water from the kettle, as indicated in the instructions. Such water will stand longer and not go out, and there will also be less scale in the coffee maker.

Pros
  • - Compact. - Makes good espresso and other coffees based on it (cappuccino, latte) if good beans are used. The kids liked the foam that the steamer makes. - Detailed instructions with examples of how to make coffee, but with a caveat (see shortcomings).
Cons
  • - Flimsy fastening of the steamer (pipe for supplying hot steam for foaming milk). I don't know how long it will last. I use it very carefully. - A couple of times, for some unknown reason, the coffee maker did not want to make coffee. There is water, coffee is ground, but when you press the button, coffee is not prepared. I turned off the coffee maker, let it cool down a bit, turned on "cooking coffee" without coffee to flush the system - everything is adjusted and working. There is not a word in the instructions about such a malfunction and how to fix it. - If you cook more than one cup of coffee at a time, then the coffee maker heats up pretty decently and there is a barely perceptible smell of heated plastic. These are the disadvantages of the plastic case. Therefore, I do not advise you to cook more than two cups at a time.
