Window goes up and down. I can't ask for much more I guess. If I had to elaborate, I would say that the piece of plastic that guides the regulator up and down was originally on the original regulator; It has been replaced with a stronger metal so I expect this to last a bit longer than the standard model which lasted around 12 years so I think this one will last at least that long. The motor isn't that powerful, but it does its job, albeit for a few seconds longer. Not a big deal considering it's $100 cheaper than I can find anywhere else for a standard device. For the price you can't ask for much more. I would buy it again for all other fancy regulators.
