This Soundance Model LS2 Laptop Cooling Pad cools my 15" MacBook Pro perfectly. Another important feature that convinced me to buy this stand is the slip resistance. Rubber pads and durable edges with non-slip rubber that secures the laptop in any position.In addition, it also has non-slip rubber pads on the bottom for use on flat surfaces.I have found that most laptop cooling pads are actually designed for B the work, table, or countertop, and the blades may get stuck in other things.This cooling pad can be used on your lap or chest, on a car seat, on a chair, or on a carpet.This is solid metal on all sides and has a bottom shelf that keeps my pants, shirts, bedspreads, etc off the fan blades. I had no opinion on the blue light when I ordered this spacer, but it's thin and lets me know the fan is working. The overall weight doesn't bother me, but it's a bit heavier than my MacBook Pro. I don't like skinny so this one is perfect for me. You will not be disappointed!
