Update: I came back to buy more of these games as gifts for friends and family and saw some negative reviews, the most scathing of which was from M.Wise. I think he may have tried playing with just two players, which isn't much fun and isn't recommended. Calling people who like to steal "sadists" is kind of odd considering it's a core component of the game, you have to be good-natured to other players in order to have fun. But I just frankly disagree with the general conclusion that the game is boring. and derivative. This game is fun and imaginative! My wife and I play board games, besides Catan we like Star Catan, Munchkin Pathfinder, Lords of Waterdeep, Dracula, Forgotten Island, Five Crowns. Mostly because you get bored with standard games. We played it at a friend's house and loved it, bought it straight away and have been taking it to all family gatherings (both sides of the family) and camping trips ever since. We have people playing with us that we could never get to play rummy let alone phase 10. And you know how they have fun =). Plus we were able to include young children from 7 years and up and the rest of us are still having fun! If you think this game is boring. I'm sorry, I want to say something derogatory. or sarcastic but to be honest its just sad i really feel sorry for you. It's like someone telling you they're dairy intolerant, gluten free, or allergic to bacon. It's just sad. Don't be sad, don't listen to idle reviews. It's not the best game, it won't change game night, but it's fun. a thrill of it. Very fun and great length. I'm curious if we buy two, if we can team up and play with more people. Super fun game paid 15 for it and it was worth it we can watch more becks games. It has a lot of replay value, I've seen people who don't like card games really get into this game. Well thought out, lots of fun, fairly quick to learn. LOVE IT
