My 13 year old loves these and the small fits him well must I say, Like a Glove! He uses then for scooter tricks and riding his bike. They seem to be well made and should survive being beat up by a teenager for a quite awhile. I never knew what the little loops were for. That is a handy feature for removing the gloves.
