I used this yarn in a Florida braid (tomato support system) I planted in my garden this summer. I wish the yarn was a little thicker but it was hard to find online and it was a good price so I chose it instead and hoped it would work. Cutting and binding was very easy. I've used it to support 9 unspecified tomatoes and had no problems all summer until a strand recently broke or came loose - that could have been my fault but other than that it lasted a few months and was pretty easy to fix . The only downside might be that without a spool the yarn is simply wound onto itself so as the spool gets thinner there is less of it left and I would expect it to become a shapeless mass of yarn on one of those occasions (hopefully not too confusing). ). I still have some left but when they run out next summer I won't hesitate to order them again.
