Received this charger in non-retail packaging with instructions. Item is brand new and exactly as pictured. With the slow charger included with Black and Decker, you charged a new battery in just 45 minutes instead of 3.5 hours. It is important to note that chargers of this type have a functional backlight that changes color and flashing frequency as needed. It doesn't have separate lights for each function as I thought after looking at the schematics. This is a very good, small and compact charger that I enjoy owning. No more waiting for charging.
