I have some harnesses for our 11 year old cat who likes to go outside for walks under supervision. They range from 2-loop models to padded, "lightweight" or tiered models. I needed a simple, minimalist, lightweight harness that she could accept (if she was too tight or bulky she would get "paralyzed" or go underwater while stepping over hot coals, LOL). It took a little while to find this among all the fancy devices, but it's perfect. Narrow and figure eight style, I adjusted the long strap so the buckle is next to the crossbar for easier clicking when on the crampon. She walks in it normally and now freely hunts lizards under the bushes!
