Waffle fleece backer is warm, too warm to run in temperatures over 32 degrees Fahrenheit. Nice and long sleeves with thumbholes for extra warmth. It would have been nice to have a drawstring hood as well as some ventilation as it gets quite warm after a few miles. Possibly mesh pit/back plates. There is a quarter zip hoodie in stock but they are not my size. The fit is a little tighter than I expected, but not so much that I ordered a size up. If you don't always like the fabric against your skin, go up a size. The outside is smooth but not thick enough to be windproof. The length is perfect, the waist does not roll. Color choice was ok, I would have liked a bright orange or green. Overall good value for money.
