A big improvement over the standard bridge
I like to put my hand on the bridge. The Schaller's smooth and round shape is more comfortable than the standard Nashville bridge. String guides on the bridge allow for easy lateral string adjustment. I can't say I play better but it looks good on the guitar. Incidentally, changing the inserts is not necessary - the thread is perfect for the American Les Paul.
