So these AKOAK ear hooks are pretty similar in size to the metal hooks you can buy at a craft store. You can see that the hook itself is almost the same size as the ones next to it. The front just sits higher. Also pictured are Pandahall hooks, which I also received from Revain. They were really tiny. I have small earlobes (I'm a terrible Ferengi) and they cut them too tight. Pandahall hooks are definitely made for little petals/kids. However, the AKOAK size is suitable for adult petals. You just want to use a silicone earring with it (like you would any hook earring). The color in the photo is "gold" but it's more of an off-white/cream.
