I took a card to record letsplays from the PS4 Pro and Xbox Series X consoles. I didn't have any problems connecting and setting up. Everything is up and running in a few clicks. The native program Rec Central did not work for me, there is no way to adequately hang filters on sound and video. I am using OBS. Adding and setting up in OBS took a few weeks =) It is clear that he began to write immediately, but something constantly did not suit him. And now to the cons. The capture quality is terrible: I knew that 4K was only in the form of a bypass. I don’t chase high resolution and this was not a minus for me. Accordingly, I set 1080 on the console. the card's native resolution. Well, the card does not pull dynamics and frames at all. Wrote AC Valhalla, so while driving through the fields, the quality of the picture drops VERY STRONGLY. It's really all in the squares. I tried everything, and changing the capture codecs, and color spaces, and various programs for recording, and wrote directly to the capture card on the SD card. Nothing helps. There are no 60 frames in any mode of operation. Exported to the recording sequence and so the card keeps the frequency from 40 to 60 frames. At the same time, exactly the same video recorded on the console itself is decomposed into honest 60. For streaming, the card works fine. Here I have no complaints. In general, if you take it for recording, I do not recommend it. Now I choose something more productive, since this card did not live up to expectations.
