Best thing for the money, glad I did it.

The materials are high quality and pleasant, the card is easy to use. Convenient and easy to record video or stream from consoles.

Pros
  • Excellent video capture card, easy to use, reliable and relatively normal cost. The kit includes: AverMedia Live Gamer Portable 2 Plus; HDMI cable; Micro USB to USB cable; 3.5mm audio cable; Management. The card records up to 1080p 60fps but outputs the picture in 4K. It has 3 modes: recording from a computer, recording in a portable (on a micro SD card) and working with micro SD (as a card reader), all this is switched using a slider, with one click. There is a sound control, right on the map.
Cons
  • To record from a computer, you will need quite powerful hardware, but portable recording saves here.

I recommend to buy, the product is of high quality.

Also, the card was used to connect the video camera as a webcam, everything works deliciously, although there are sometimes troubles with the OBS. Perhaps these are my jambs. I have never used inputs for 3.5 jacks, I will have to test it.

Pros
  • Everything works like clockwork, two wires are included, it remains to find one more HDMI. The price is great, but I bought for 6k it was nice.
Cons
  • I was very surprised that ULTRAWIDE support was not delivered to such a product, I have 21:9 monitors, and after processing with a card, the image on the monitor begins to stretch and be flattened. i. E. UFHD goes for it, and use your 21:9 type as 16:9, let you have black stripes on the sides, as the manufacturer says. I don't understand this at all. It is very strange to search the Avermedia website for the correct software for your model, everything is not intuitive and incomprehensible there, I set a bunch of superfluous things. For some reason, the manufacturer does not want to poke buttons for each product. Here is your software, which is very sad.

The best thing I've ever used, I recommend it to everyone!

The maximum resolution that it can record is Full HD 60 frames per second, and today this is relevant, since many now have TVs and monitors that support this resolution.

Pros
  • You can broadcast on 9 different servers, and you can even create an RTMP server yourself. There are also two 3.5 minijack inputs.
Cons
  • didn't notice

Return my money! Disgusting product and poor quality.

I was looking for a device with offline recording functions so as not to burden computer resources! But . this is never it! You didn’t connect it and forgot it, this is one big problem at a very inflated price, under such and such circumstances. The first day, I repeat, was spent on the fact that it simply began to be detected by the regular ReCentral. When the picture appeared, it turned out that there was no sound from the source when recording in PC-FREE mode, there was no sound via HDMI…

Pros
  • Disadvantages prevail! Of the advantages, only the appearance is probably, and even then, for show.
Cons
  • The device simply does not perform its main function declared by the manufacturer, namely, it does not record sound in PC-FREE mode! To make it more clear: when recording gameplay through it in PC-FREE mode, you will have a video recorded (the gameplay itself, directly) and comments to it if a microphone is connected, but there will be no sound of the game itself! The device, in principle, has problems with connecting and installing drivers, there is no PLUG & PLAY, as it says on the manufacturer's website and is drawn on the box - I spent a day to ensure that an image appeared in the regular ReCentral capture program, t. To. when connected, the program simply did not recognize the connected device! Addition: The problem with recording sound via hdmi connection was solved by an adapter from HDMI to VGA (that is, we connect the card to the monitor via an analog input so that the path, in general, does not look for sound at all). The fact is that the GPU, when connected through this card, sees a monitor without speakers at the end of the cable as an output source and flatly refuses to send sound through the cable, and by connecting the card to the monitor via VGA through an adapter, we do not let the card understand that the source at the end is not capable of reproducing sound . Of course, this is an engineering miscalculation. Finally, after a week and a half, or two weeks, the offline mode worked fully, as it should, when the source is a PC. It's very sad that you had to come to everything yourself. Support services, we can now say with complete confidence, no! I attached their response to this review and it speaks for itself! Someone casually mentioned the analog connection on Reddit. This comment is not specifically noted by anyone, and this is but the only solution to the problem of no sound over HDMI.

Average quality of the product, especially for the money.

I took a card to record letsplays from the PS4 Pro and Xbox Series X consoles. I didn't have any problems connecting and setting up. Everything is up and running in a few clicks. The native program Rec Central did not work for me, there is no way to adequately hang filters on sound and video. I am using OBS. Adding and setting up in OBS took a few weeks =) It is clear that he began to write immediately, but something constantly did not suit him. And now to the cons. The capture quality is…

Pros
  • There are no outstanding features.
Cons
  • In the comments.

The first device of its kind, but absolutely everyone will understand how to connect and use it, in principle it is configured out of the box, no extra drivers and compatibility. I use it in tandem with two PCs, it relieves the load significantly and does not require USB 3.0 to connect. You can also record your voice in a separate track and during the stream by connecting a microphone through it. Changes to video or sound can be made in their own software.

Pros
  • USB 2.0 connection No drivers or settings in Windows required Quality build and modern look

Nice price, good quality.

With the help of the card, sound from several devices is captured fully without distortion, mixed and then correctly superimposed on the video sequence. I am always pleased to watch the resulting file with a high bitrate and smooth display as well as my subscribers. On large monitors, it always looks spectacular. When I'm offline, I save the videos in reserve on a card that I bought separately. My personal cache, so to speak. It is commendable for the ability to work in tandem with a portable…

Pros
  • Audio mixer, bit rate 60 fps, recording directly to the card, can be powered by power bank
Cons
  • Selectivity to MicroSD

Terrible quality, wasted money.

It is very unexpected that two different goods could be confused. Yes, they are the same manufacturer, but the articles are similar, but this is not a reason to send the wrong product for delivery. All questions on the return will now be delayed for 1.5-3 weeks, and this is very unpleasant. Some pros: I read a lot of things before buying, agreed on this option - the price / quality ratio is very decent Has cons: I received the wrong product. I ordered a portable 2 plus, and a video capture card

I recommend to buy, the product is of high quality.

In principle, in some form, it solves the problem of writing to an independent medium. And quite high quality at FHD resolution. Streaming was not planned, so docking with a laptop in recording mode on a memory card was enough. Large files had to be converted to mp4 before use - they shrank by about 3 times. Different pros: Really writes FullHD at 60 frames per second (if you don’t need 60 frames, there are many things cheaper from the same manufacturer) No PC/Laptop required (microSD slot…

Thanks to the online store Online Trade ru for help in purchasing this model of capture cards, at that time it was not available or to order in many large chains or online stores due to the lack of goods. In this store, the cards were in stock, at first I did not believe it, until I phoned the manager and checked with him at their warehouse, everything turned out to be in stock. Thanks again for the fast delivery.

Pros
  • I have been using these cards for a video stream from different cameras for a long time, I selected many capture cards for my broadcast, but I decided on this particular model.
Cons
  • Didn't notice

Quite good, but I expected more from it.

The contraption costs 15,000. Cheap pleasure. At the same time, the manufacturer does not indicate one of the most important parameters of the device. Does a great job with streaming. Recording is mediocre. In general, the device was dissatisfied. It just suits me. As soon as possible, I will switch to another, and henceforth I will treat the Avermedia brand with caution. I am very glad that I did not immediately buy a set with a microphone and a camera.

Pros
  • Easy to connect - in fact, the device does not require any configuration and is immediately detected by the required software.
Cons
  • Absolutely nowhere, that is, ANYWHERE AT ALL, is it said that the device does not transmit HDR and / or UHD colors. Before buying this capture card, I looked at a bunch of reviews and reviews and no one pointed out this, I would say, defining flaw. On the manufacturer's website, this is also NOT SAID ANYWHERE. Everywhere and everyone emphasizes that with a capture card, you can continue to watch / play with a picture in 4K. Not a word about HDR. What 4K TV doesn't support HDR these days? When I connected the card to the console and my TV, I was terribly upset that I would have to play and record without an extended color range. The whole point of 4K gaming without HDR, I think, is lost, because thanks to the soft color transitions and midtones, many of the shortcomings of the picture from the console are hidden - including useless anti-aliasing. In addition, through OBS, this card writes a torn picture. There is a loss of frames and friezes. Through my software, everything is fine.
