Return my money! Disgusting product and poor quality.

I was looking for a device with offline recording functions so as not to burden computer resources! But . this is never it! You didn’t connect it and forgot it, this is one big problem at a very inflated price, under such and such circumstances. The first day, I repeat, was spent on the fact that it simply began to be detected by the regular ReCentral. When the picture appeared, it turned out that there was no sound from the source when recording in PC-FREE mode, there was no sound via HDMI. Sound recording is an integral part of the functionality, but it does not write it! I re-read the entire English-language reddit, the problem is massive - there is no solution. Support specialists respond to questions posed on the forum with counter questions about the availability of installed drivers and monitor models (the second, as it were, hints that it is apparently not designed for all monitor models), and users are left in the dark about this. Of course, there are no telephone numbers on the 2022-language support site, all communication is through the feedback form, which fits three lines of text. According to the results of our own "excavations", we managed to find out that the built-in HDMI in does not receive the audio signal from the source directly, but simply passes it further to the final output device, and captures it at the expense of the monitor or TV. So if your monitor or TV thinks something, then you will not see the sound on the video! The last straw in the cup of patience was the inability to ate the firmware by following the instructions from the manufacturer's website. Oh, I thought it would solve the problem. BUT, here a counter problem awaited me, the firmware refused to be ated - the device behaves differently than the manufacturer writes, apparently it does not go into ate mode at all. On Reddit, they write that someone received instructions from the manufacturer on how to solve this problem, for this you need to downgrade to an earlier version, and then upgrade to the desired - later . but, sorry, this is too much already! Conclusion - do not recommend! Huge problem with offline recording!

The device simply does not perform its main function declared by the manufacturer, namely, it does not record sound in PC-FREE mode! To make it more clear: when recording gameplay through it in PC-FREE mode, you will have a video recorded (the gameplay itself, directly) and comments to it if a microphone is connected, but there will be no sound of the game itself! The device, in principle, has problems with connecting and installing drivers, there is no PLUG & PLAY, as it says on the manufacturer's website and is drawn on the box - I spent a day to ensure that an image appeared in the regular ReCentral capture program, t. To. when connected, the program simply did not recognize the connected device! Addition: The problem with recording sound via hdmi connection was solved by an adapter from HDMI to VGA (that is, we connect the card to the monitor via an analog input so that the path, in general, does not look for sound at all). The fact is that the GPU, when connected through this card, sees a monitor without speakers at the end of the cable as an output source and flatly refuses to send sound through the cable, and by connecting the card to the monitor via VGA through an adapter, we do not let the card understand that the source at the end is not capable of reproducing sound . Of course, this is an engineering miscalculation. Finally, after a week and a half, or two weeks, the offline mode worked fully, as it should, when the source is a PC. It's very sad that you had to come to everything yourself. Support services, we can now say with complete confidence, no! I attached their response to this review and it speaks for itself! Someone casually mentioned the analog connection on Reddit. This comment is not specifically noted by anyone, and this is but the only solution to the problem of no sound over HDMI.
