Review on πŸŽ“ Elegant Glossy Cherry Mahogany Diploma Frame with Gold Trim & Black Suede Matting - 11x14 Size by Karen Huston

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Originally from Oklahoma. Ready! Beer quality for a champagne budget.

I really, really wanted to like this frame and this company. But after two attempts I understand that within the framework of a diploma you either get cheaper or go under. There is no average. If you're reading this review, chances are you turned down the $150+ price tag your school wanted for 'their' diploma frame. If I could quite pull it off, I would buy a frame from a bookstore (and I may have yet to put up with that). This company had a story that I believe in. People create an excellent product at a fair price. Since the Chinese-made poles that are often sold in stores suck, I thought I had found an alternative to the tent frames used in universities. I was wrong. Too bad not one, but TWO of those $100 frames had their mats cut off with a dull razor! Total massacre! It's disgusting. The craft shops work perfectly. Little old women do their job perfectly without any special tools. The second frame creaked when held. The joints were bad, which is a hallmark of a pounder! Overall, the frame is what you pay for. This is real wood with real paint. No "real"* tree like anything for less money to compare this to. This is real photo frame glass, 1/8 inch. No preserving jar. From a distance you will not notice these shortcomings. Saved the first one. Send back a "replacement". If only this company could meet modern standards of fit and finish, they would be a gem. Customer service was rude.
