Well made and inexpensive. There is no heavy wax in it, in fact there seems to be little wax. I splashed some water on it and it didn't roll like a duck's back, but one of the reasons I bought it was the stiffness and staining mentioned in reviews of other aprons. I also noticed that some of the bags had rivets which I didn't see on others. The straps aren't long enough to tie in the front, as some reviewers seem to want (not me), and it will still get in the way of pockets. One of the reasons I like this more than others is the two hammer loops. Others have only one, and many have none. I found they tend to pull the apron forward a bit so I might as well just use a separate belt holster. Overall I see no need to spend more on others and am happy with the product.
