I have to say I was VERY pleasantly surprised by the softness of this blanket. The fur side reminds me of my Siberian kitten and the other side, the Sherpa, is just as soft. The color is really pretty, a rich powder salmon that goes great with my grays and sage green/turquoise blue. Weight is good, like in a "warm hug" - as Disney's Olaf would say. I gained 15 pounds because I wasn't sure I could handle 20+ after my recent hip surgery. I have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Anxiety & Depression, Chronic Pain & Fatigue so comfort for me is HIGH! Not being able to have my fiancé with me at night helps me a lot with falling asleep and staying awake. Very gift.
