Review on DJI Osmo Mobile 2 Electric Stabilizer by Janis Kronbergs ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A normal product, however, does not fully match the description.

I am writing a review for 2022. Phone - iPhone 11. I bought this stabilizer from my hands for 5000r. Probably worth your money. It makes no sense to take more. I would take something else if I knew all the shortcomings. I will list only the shortcomings: - big enough. now there are a lot of stabilizers that fold up and can fit in your pocket. - QUALITY OF MATERIALS. The plastic seems cheap and not very durable. After shooting 4 times, one of the screw locks, which moves the phone to the side, jammed. With effort, the axis of the latch scrolled inside the case. Now the phone is not rigidly fixed, but you can use it. I did not use the stabilizer during precipitation. - FEW MODES. 2 main modes: fixed position and fixed vertically, i. E. Turning the handle to the right and left turns the phone to the right and left respectively. It is possible to shoot vertically, but for this you need to turn off the stub, open the latch and manually scroll the holder. - NOT SUITABLE FOR LARGE PHONES. In my case, the phone hardly fits WITHOUT A CASE. It is possible with a cover, but every time I'm afraid to break something. Perfect for iPhone 7 and below. To the right and left it turns out to balance without problems, but due to the fact that the phone is wide, up and down does not work normally, but nevertheless it works like that. Moreover, on the contrary, you have to install the phone a little higher, so that when shooting from below, the phone does not touch one of the axes. Iphone with the prefix PLUS and MAX will fit without a case, but with a very big strain. When shooting vertically, the motors will OVERVOLT. - NOT SUITABLE FOR SUPER WIDE. Newer iPhones with an ultra wide-angle lens have part of the stabilizer in the frame. You won’t be able to shoot, but there is a life hack: turn the phone back to front so that the camera looks at you and turn the stub. - You can tilt the handle no more than 30 degrees from the vertical position to the right and left. At a higher tilt, the stabilizer fills up the phone

Pros
  • stabilization quality! software Can be mounted on a tripod or tripod joystick availability of used stubs
Cons
  • Bulky Only 2 shooting modes (fixed) quality of materials not suitable for large phones not compatible with "SUPERWIDE" left-right tilt restrictions
