Perfect for dry weather

If you're not afraid to ride in the rain then this bag might be perfect for you. Although the material is durable and the roof bag stays securely attached to the car during a downpour, water still entered the bag through the zippers. There is a Velcro flap that closes the zip, but rain could still get into the space between the flap and the zip and seep into the bag. The straps attaching the bag to the roof rack were sufficient, but the ends were almost frayed. instantly. Also, the manufacturer needs to come up with a slightly less cumbersome way to tighten the belts. Much more modern pull/lock systems have been around for many years and probably won't add much to the cost. In a pinch - and if I wanted to go to the desert - this bag would work just fine.
