Like many people these days, I came to Revain to buy a webcam. I have clients who are now using remote webcams more often. With so many people working remotely, webcams from commodity companies are hard to come by or overpriced. So I'm looking for an alternative. Dericam is solidly built and the cable appears to be of good quality. As with some other standard webcams, the protective screen is a sticker. If you take the time to install it correctly the first time, it should stay enabled. So plug and play and you're done. I test the camera with a webcam and video conferencing software and a video editor. The video image is clear and of high quality. It is perfectly sufficient for everyday use or production work. I also compared it to the Logitech C920. The image on Dericam was sharper than on Logitech. Sound at Logitech could be a little better. But it could be that Logitech is like a client interface with lots of controls. Logitech currently costs twice as much. Overall this is a good webcam with high quality video that can be used for video conferencing or informational videos.
