Review on Wireless Car Charger Car Electronics & Accessories via Car Electronics Accessories by Aaron Gonzales

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Impressive quality and versatility.

I have to say I am very impressed with this charger. This is one of the nicer ones I've used. My truck is literally my office most of the time and this guy keeps my phone charged and available. In terms of charging there is no problem, I can use it for data and navigation and calls all day and it stays charged. However, I think it's important to note that while the device comes with a USB-C cable, it doesn't come with an actual power bank. So the charging speed also depends on what you connect it to. What struck me the most was its versatility in terms of being able to adjust the holder to place your phone exactly where you need it. I have a column switch in my truck that gets in the way pretty much anywhere you want to mount most chargers. But I was able to position my hand on this device so that my phone was easily accessible and visible without obstructing the gear selector or blocking my view of the road. I was a bit scared at first, especially with my arm outstretched, that the phone would bounce around a lot and either fall out of the charger or the entire charger would fall off the dashboard. This wasn't a problem at all, in fact it's more stable than my other devices and other chargers I've used. This is particularly impressive considering my phone is essentially a "military-grade rugged brick" (Kyocera Duraforce Pro) and weighs more than most phones. Notably, while the suction cup device works on its own, it also has a strong adhesive coating. The last thing I wanted to mention is the mechanism that actually pushes your phone onto the charger. what the manufacturer calls "intelligent identification function". To open the jaws, press a button and they gently roll out. To "clamp" simply place your phone in the charger (while plugged in) and the jaws will automatically retract until the phone is clamped. It holds the phone firmly and the operation is very smooth, unlike some others that use a spring operated mechanism it seems to be powered by some kind of small servo. Overall I highly recommend this product. It's durable and well built, extremely versatile in its settings, and charges quickly. The only drawback I see is that there is no separate power supply unit. But given the quality and price compared to the competition, it's worth buying separately. That's why I gave it a 5 star rating.
