A good option for slippers for winter

I was looking for a pair of slippers to wear in winter. My summer canvas shoes were definitely uncomfortable when it was below 30 degrees F outside (Wisconsin and Minnesota winters). I came across these as a viable option and a decent price compared to some other brands. I have size 10 Skechers and lace-up boots, so I ordered them in a size 10 as well. Unfortunately they were too loose, so I took advantage of the free returns and exchanged for a size 9.5. These fit a lot better. The shoes take a bit of getting used to to put on if you don't have similar shoes. It may feel a little tight the first few times, but after a few uses it goes away. They keep my feet warm when I'm in the car and walking through the shops, and I appreciate not having to lace up my boots when I just want to put my shoes on and walk the kids out the door. They have a decent profile for walking on packed snow. I noticed this morning that they were slippery on the ice, but that won't be much (and honestly, they're geared more towards hiking than winter). They look gorgeous so they can definitely be worn on many occasions. Of course they're more than double what I paid for them 3 weeks ago, but that's not a good reason to drop a star, instead I'm sitting here complaining. If you buy them for less than $30 I think they're a great deal.
