Good shoes but short-lived

The shoes are very comfortable. Slides in and out easily and feels solid. The shoes look good too. My only concern is that after a few months it started to show signs of wear. The sole has moved away from the heel and threads are sticking out in various places. I will try to take pictures and post them soon to show how bad it is looking right now. I bought these shoes a few months ago and wear them to work several times a week. I have a desk job so I don't walk a lot, but I've made a few small…

Amazing Comfort: Men's

This solved my problem with uncomfortable walking shoes. I can't tell you how many pairs of shoes I've tried from other high profile competitors, but they weren't as comfortable. Maybe I've worn Skechers too long that I've died for other brands! Seriously, I honestly shake them all. But when it comes to comfort, Skechers is way ahead of everyone. I understand there are brands that last longer, but who cares if they don't feel good? I tested these shoes while climbing and on the trails, they are

A good option for slippers for winter

I was looking for a pair of slippers to wear in winter. My summer canvas shoes were definitely uncomfortable when it was below 30 degrees F outside (Wisconsin and Minnesota winters). I came across these as a viable option and a decent price compared to some other brands. I have size 10 Skechers and lace-up boots, so I ordered them in a size 10 as well. Unfortunately they were too loose, so I took advantage of the free returns and exchanged for a size 9.5. These fit a lot better. The shoes take…

Harder but still comfortable.

Slightly stiffer than other Skechers I own and the price is now comparable to Merrell and even slightly more expensive than Columbia so not really a deal like it was when they first came out but still more comfortable , seemingly well made shoe from the start. In width D there is enough space in the toe area and it does not have to be broken in. We'll see how long they last before they start breaking in support as this was an issue I've noticed with other lighter weight Skechers flip flops I…

The best pair of shoes I've ever worn

I work on a concrete floor; 8-9 hours, 5 days a week. These shoes have absolutely the best fit and best shoe I have ever worn. I'm 69 years old so I've worn quite a few different styles in my life and these are by far the best. If they do have one downside, it's that they're snug on top of the shoe (at the ankles) until you've worn them a few times. It doesn't bother me and I use the shoehorn for a couple of weeks until the tip "stretches" a little and makes it easier for my foot to slide. When

Solid shoes. at Fashion Sneakers

Bought a pair last year. Ten months later, they hold up very well to daily wear. As you would expect they are looser but they are just easier to put on but still fit very well and hold up very well (size 10). fits very well, like my previous 10s in trailer hitch and width. As others have noted they are a bit tight at first but they break in and get a lot lighter. The woman whose couple showed abnormal/premature wear seems to have hit that barrel, which happens. with the best for manufacturers…

Great shoe but not for hiking

I've had these shoes for a week now and they are excellent in so many ways. Looks good, glides easily, comfortable to walk on. You don't have to worry if they are not wide. They have a relaxed fit, meaning they stretch out towards your feet. They are very comfortable, lightly padded and true to size. Low to medium arch support. The grip on the soles of the shoes is excellent, they don't slide on the ground. They are excellent for walking on flat, hilly trails. HOWEVER, do not use them as…

I felt safe and dry

I have to admit the biggest benefit for me was not having to tie them. I haven't had to tie my shoelaces in 5 years and I wasn't about to start when I was talked into going camping with friends last weekend. I didn't want big, heavy boots. I just wanted sneakers that I could wear to work if I wanted to. I took this pair to Linville Gorge on the Rock Jock Trail and they were great except maybe they were too relaxed to use on the trail. The first day my feet slipped too much but the next day I…
