I've had these round lightbulbs for years but they've faded so it's time for a new set. The new ones have a remote control with different dimmer settings - which is good because the default setting is too bright for me. But every time you turn the light off it loses its setting so you have to manually adjust the dimming level each time you turn the light on turn on. which wouldn't make much of a difference if I turned the light on with the remote, but I don't. I use smart plugs and turn them on from my phone. So it's a little annoying having to hold the remote around, but whatever. These lights naturally lose brightness over time. The remote really sucks because it doesn't always register every press. I love these lights no matter what and hope they keep making them. They don't last forever so I know I'll be buying more. I leave mine on for about 8 hours a day and I can get a few years out of them before they either get really dark or turn off completely.
