Matches the description completely, very satisfied.

Very happy with this router! I'm just not happy. I can safely recommend for a country house. Use - 3 storey house, with thick brick walls. Before that, there were - tp-link wr941nd (worked for 1.5 years and the port died), zyxel keenetic lite 2 (in the second year it began to lose contact with the provider, at first rarely, then every 30 minutes). I decided to buy a more expensive router this time and I am very satisfied. Range (the router is installed on the second floor in the central room, by the window) - in the back rooms, where the old routers did not catch, this one works fine. Everywhere in the back rooms, the signal is about 2 times better than the old routers. Haven't tested on site yet. The phone app and the browser version are super convenient, usability is on top. I have an Internet speed of 50mb / sec (Hong Kong region). The router on both bands gives me max speed without drawdowns in the next 2 rooms! In terms of speed, there are no drawdowns at all, all the time around 50mb / sec! I was ready to continue to live with the fact that routers cut air speed by 1.5-2 times. But this machine is amazing! Compared to old routers, this is heaven and earth. But it is also much more expensive than them. And compared to the old tp-link wr941nd, this one is just space in everything. Kudos to tp-link for taking such a huge step forward!

Pros
  • easy setup, convenient phone app, range, speed
Cons
  • price
