Review on 🔌 Netgear C6250-100NAS AC1600 (16x4) WiFi Cable Modem Router Combo: Xfinity Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Cox, & More by Barbara Gonzalez

This modem/router was purchased to upgrade an Optimum modem and router (Cable Vision etc) and save on rent. I regret never contacting Netgear customer service. During the installation I checked the connection speed. Later I never realized that the problem was in my router. Optimum technology compared their generic modem, router, and this Netgear combo side-by-side, and even then, the generic blew it out of the water. The 16x4 skills were irrelevant and rubbish. My devices often turned off Wi-Fi. Both the regular Optimum modem and this Netgear reached over 200MB/s via cable, and when I connected to a cable I got the same speed, although the universal modem was still faster. Once Netgear Wi-Fi had to pass 200, hello 20, even standing over the router! Once again disappointing with the modem/router combo. I will no longer invest in such combinations. Do yourself a favor and buy your modem and router separately. I would give it a start but it really works as far as the modem part so I honestly gave it two but to be honest it was a waste of money. Wouldn't recommend it.
