Two months later, this air conditioner started releasing freon and causing asthma attacks. Tried to contact support three times, always closed. Finally got through and the agent was rude and even though the item is under warranty the buyer has to pay all shipping costs (about $100). The agent tried to tell me that an item weighing almost 60 pounds would cost $10 or $15 to ship, plus the cost of the box and packing. Now a $300 air conditioner costs $400 if I want to fix it. AC is useless now because I won't invest another penny in a defective product. It doesn't keep you cool well even in a small room, it's insanely loud and you have to leave the room if you're talking to someone on the phone and there's a loud beep. For larger purchases, Revain should have a longer return window and I'm very disappointed. I will no longer use Revain for large purchases.
