Review on SP 8VH01GC01 BL FP190E Projector EH200ST Mogobe by Bernardino Suazo

Made me angry that the lamp in my Optoma GT1080 died after only 176 hours in 7 months (Optoma only guarantees the lamp is also for 90 days). Was happy to find this bare bulb for less than half the price of an Optoma bulb/replacement housing. This lamp is an exact replacement of the original, with the same Osram (Sylvania) embossing and markings on the porcelain base. As mentioned before, make sure your case is still intact before ordering this. If the lamp bursts, the thin glass lens of the housing can also break. Opening the case is also easy with only 6 screws (size 0). 4 to open the case and 2 to fix the lamp. There are actually 4 screws holding the lamp in place but you only need to remove 2 and it slides out. Also, for your information, do not touch the glass parts of the lamp with your fingers. Oil on the skin can cause the lamp to explode prematurely due to excessive heat build-up. Hopefully this lamp will last a little longer than the original and at least Mogobe guarantees 180 days. Edit: It lasted 5 months and only 158 hours. I contacted Mogobe last week for a warranty replacement but no response.
