Ineffective for my opinion

The device does hold the seatbelt in a better position across the chest, however, it then raises the seatbelt across the lap too high. The seatbelt across the lap should lie low across the hips, not come across the abdomen, which is dangerous in a car accident and can cause serious or fatal internal injuries.

Pros
